  have you found some new band or artist that you would reccomend we listen to...for this to work we would need to know what style of music you normally listen to and then we can know if its what we would enjoy...eg.

  i like pink floyd...genesis...yes...etc.....................and have just found mercury rev......brill

  Look into popular music in other countries. Look at the European music scene. If you like Reggae and Hip Hop with a Spanish flair, try Reggaeton.

  Question-- Should I inform the Sheriff??

  for those of you who dont already know by now, the sheriff's deputy who told us to stop picketing last thursday works for the very same department that i do.

  she works patrol, and i work corrections.

  i remember when she used to work in the jail a few years ago, but im not sure if she recognized me.

  Ask the Sheriff. Maybe you'll get his blessing or ask how it can be done so as not to block traffic or break the law. Then when a deputy comes out you can say you've already spoken to the Sheriff and to call him if there is a problem.

  I get my information from the congregation direct, not from reading news sources. I travel and have friends all over the world. Confirmed by many in the hall so I assume it is true. The scariest part that they worry about is if he wants to come back or makes a habit out of it.

  i finally figured out why i'm so socially retarded...it just hit me.. here i was sitting and wondering why i have such a hard time meeting new people, making friends, thinking of relevent things to say, and so on.

  it really is painful and scary for me.

  i was told who i could talk to, who i couldn't talk to, what i could say, what i couldn't say.

  It just takes practice. I got so much crap for being single. Marry this girl or that. But they were all fat or ugly. I dated models and hotties before the truth. Then the same that told me to hook up would cock block and talk crap behind my back as they were jealous.
  
  Then I would wonder if I was being seen talkin to a worldy girl. One night the local news did a piece on this own party. They panned a shot in a local bar and showed a shot of me talkin to two hottie with very short skirts. I got alot of teasin the next day.
  
  I still feel a bit guilty talkin to some people because we are trained not to associate with worldly people. Also when I am in So. Cal, people are pretty fake and it is such a game you need to play like no other place in the world. Plus there was the worry of gossip and being talked to for some made up rule that was broken.
  
  I'm over alot now and have alot of friends but still the jw way has shaped my personality a bit and I haven't shaken it. I am a shy person although everyone laughs when I tell them that because I can be wild and crazy.
